Saturdays 9:30am - Noon

This individualized program will target students who are applying to visual art magnet programs and those hight school students who are in the college application proccess. Through the skills and knowledge of professional artists/teachers, students will prepare and strengthen their portfolios.

Students will:
-Learn the importance of strong portfolio presentation
-Develop a portfolio and maintain a sketchbook
-Maximize digital portfolio
-Work with proffessional artists
-Create original works of art in all media including: drawing, painting, color theory, two and three dimensional design and ceramics.
-Enhance artistic skills based on each individuals talents and abilities
-Learn to photograph artwork effectivly
-Learn to matte or mount artwork for presentation

Cost:
One time materials fee of $50.00 plus $15.00 registration fee
$25.00 per session: minimum of 6 sessions. (12 sessions recommended)


* FREE OPEN FIGURE DRAWING SESSIONS
When: Every first Sunday of the month
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: Miart Classroom at BAC
Professional nude models will be available to all artists who wish to attend. Bring your own materials. Drawing boards will be provided.
